Massage therapy and bodywork span a much larger scope than relaxing Swedish and deep tissue techniques. The style that I have developed is the reason for my clients' success and recovery. One of the most important aspects of my practice is listening to how you relate to your body and developing the most effective bodywork strategy to provide comfort and relief.

Our bodies endure and adapt to postural deviations, injuries, and the effects of surgery. Often, these influences play a significant role in how we move, sometimes leading to pain, stiffness or limitation. The bodywork modalities that I incorporate into each session can have remarkable results by:

  • Decreasing pain

  • Increasing movement to restricted areas

  • Promoting blood supply and nutrient distribution

As I work slowly, accessing the body's tissues from superficial to deep, the nervous system adjusts to this stimulus, allowing me to melt deeper into the nooks and crannies of your body. This style of bodywork often leaves you feeling more spacious and refreshed the next day than you would expect with a traditional deep tissue massage. Breath is another essential aspect that I listen for during treatment. When you inhale, I may lighten the pressure and then sink in more deeply on your exhale; working with you, not against you.

The goal of my work is to restore your feeling of well-being. So whether you play sports, enjoy working in your garden, or looking to add more pep to your step, my skills and experience can help you continue doing the things that you love most.

"Working with Olivia has opened a new chapter in my healing process. She releases tension like no other therapist I've seen in my many years struggling with chronic pain and limited mobility.  Her ease and kindness makes me feel safe, and I am excited for a future where meeting my health and wellness goals with confidence is possible. I'm truly grateful that my path led me to her."
